Blepharoplasty

What is Eyelid Aesthetics (Blepharoplasty)?

Although eyelid aesthetics is an operation generally performed for cosmetic purposes, the surgery can also be performed to eliminate vision impairment caused by sagging eyelids.

The eyelids may sometimes lose their tone, droop, or appear more puffy. This may cause visual disturbances or aesthetic concerns. Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure performed for two purposes. These purposes; It is to reduce bagging on the lower eyelids and improve the problem of excess skin on the upper eyelid. This process involves removing excess skin, muscle and fat tissues. Rarely, changing the location of these tissues may be sufficient. However, this procedure does not eliminate dark circles under the eyes, crow's feet or serious wrinkles. In addition, since it is not an eyebrow lifting procedure, it does not clearly solve the problem of drooping eyebrows.
